Sophie Karpe (SWE) - Professional rider and retailer

Sophie Karpe lives in Helsingborg and has ridden in the Swedish national team both on pony and horse up to senior level. She has several medals at SM, NM and EM level both individually and in teams. She grew up in a horse family where her mother rode both difficult jumping and dressage. Her father rode difficult jumping, including in Falsterbo. Sophie runs the company Life With a Horse and also works as a jumps trainer, coach and recently as a mental coach.

Sophie also has a background as a project manager in IKEA for many years and leadership development is a big part of sports initiatives. She helps with the whole of Life With a Horse, from care, feeding, training for the team to mental training for the rider. Sophie also has some commissions from outside agencies, including SWB.

Sophie has extensive knowledge about sustainability and the impact of training on the horse's joints and she is a specialist in Healthy Leaders products. She is on hand to answer any questions and as a retailer she has a full range at home for direct delivery

In addition to Life With a Horse and the company, Sophie has her beautiful horse BenTen T in the stable. BenTen T (SWB) is a gelding born in 2012, by: Cabachon ? Everest Elton, breeder Michael Andersson, Vetlanda. Sophie bought ?Benny? after an 8 year break from riding and she started from scratch. A few years later they have now competed successfully up to 140cm and made it to Jönköping horse show & Falsterbo horse show with prominent placings. In 2022 Sophie also brought home the future star Cobra D, a 6 year old gelding by Cobra 18 - Ard VDL Douglas.
