Eva Vet

All EvaVets products are based on high-molecular hyaluronic acid (1.4 million Daltons). Having a high molecular weight is crucial to the efficacy of oral administration of hyaluronic acid as it affects how it is transported to the joint. A low molecular weight hyaluronic acid does not have the same effect and may trigger inflammation rather than prevent it. It is therefore important to know that it is a high molecular weight hyaluronic acid that is being given.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the joints of all of us (horses, dogs, humans?) and it acts as a lubricant and shock absorber. You could almost say it's the plaster of the joint.

Traditionally, joints have often been injected with a 'cockscomb' in case of inflammation. These injections are hyaluronic acid. The advantage of giving hyaluronic acid orally is that it seeks out the joints that need filling, rather than just one place, and avoids the risk of infection that comes with injection. In some cases you may still need to inject and it is good to follow up with oral treatment afterwards to maintain long-lasting levels of hyaluronic acid in the joint.

All products can be combined with each other. They are developed by veterinarians and have solid research behind them.?

Chondrogen 100PRO

is a perfect base product because it contains hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine. All three components are naturally present in cartilage and play an important role in the normal functioning of the joint. The concentration of hyaluronic acid is 100 mg/14 g.

The product is in powder form and is given in the feed. Chondrogen has 96 hours of competition cartilage. We recommend Chondrogen as a basic product for all horses.

Conquer 200PRO

contains only hyaluronic acid and has, as the name suggests, twice the concentration. Conquer is recommended for the training and competing horse in order to provide maximum lubrication and cushioning for the joints. As horses work intensively, and even with increasing age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the joints decreases and to prevent joint inflammation, Conquer is given as a support. Conquer has no waiting period which means that higher doses can be added before and during competitions to give maximum recovery. You cannot overdose with hyaluronic acid.

Conquest

is a new unique combination product with hyaluronic acid and Boswellia Serrata. The unique feature is that hyaluronic acid and Boswellia Serrata work together. The depots are replenished with hyaluronic acid and the Boswellia prevents it from breaking down. In other words, you get a lasting level of hyaluronic acid in the joint, which allows it to calmly form its own high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Conquest is recommended for horses that are or have been lame or undergoing treatment and for horses in intensive training and competition. As of 2023-03-01, Conquest has a 96-hour starting time in the Nordic countries.

Conquest is available in 2 types: Conquest Start Up comes in a tube and is given directly into the mouth (alt is pushed into the feed). One tube contains 3 or 4 doses and has as high a concentration of hyaluronic acid as 300 mg/dose and 1250 mg/dose of Boswellia Serrata. Conquest Follow Up is a viscous gel (similar to Conquer). It contains 135 mg/10 ml of hyaluronic acid and 850 mg/10 ml of Boswellia Serrata. You can choose to give an initial boost of Conquest Start Up and then move on to Follow Up. Some choose to give Follow Up directly.
