Olof Smith (SWE)

Olof Smith is a rider with a solid equestrian background. He has completed the Flyinges stable manager training with a focus on young horses and is a certified rider. He has worked as a student with Peter Eriksson, as a rider at Flyinge and has also been a rider at the famous Zangersheide stud farm. Olof competed at a high level already as a junior and young rider where he among other things took home a SM bronze for YR. As a senior he has lots of wins and placings in difficult jumping up to 155 cm internationally. The list of achievements includes everything from Yearling Championships, Young Horse World Championships and Utility Tests where most of the Utility Test winners over the years have been ridden and trained by Olof. Riding in teams is something he enjoys very much and at home hangs most of the team World Championship medals, the majority of which are in gold.

Olof has trained several horses from start to difficult jumping. Today, most racing weekends are spent with his daughter Lilly, who has taken over several of his older stars.
