We recommend ChondroPlus to horses with previous joint problems and recurring joint inflammations.

We recommend ChondorPlus for the older horse. Since the older horse's own production of glucosamine decreases with increasing age, it is important to support the joint with this. The older horse is also at greater risk of joint inflammation.

Hyaluronic acid  promotes the joint's production of high-quality synovial fluid, acts as a shock absorber and lubricant, and transports nutrients to the joint and waste products out of it.

Glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and manganese are important nutrients for the health and quality of joint cartilage. The articular cartilage is fragile and cannot be rebuilt. Damage to the cartilage will thus be permanent and gradually lead to osteoarthritis and chronic joint disease. Glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and manganese support the quality and durability of cartilage.

Boswellia Serrata has a strengthening effect on the hyaluronic acid as it causes the hyaluronic acid to remain longer in the joint. It also prevents the hyaluronic acid molecules from breaking down, which provides a high-quality and protective synovial fluid.

Dosage per 500 kg horse:

1 scoop (15 g) daily. Scoop included in the package.
Molasses flavored powder for easy administration.  The powder is given in connection with feeding.
Initially, a double dose (1 scoop twice per day) can be given for 1 – 2 weeks for a faster effect.
